Upcoming Snow Camps
Fun, games, worship, friends, and snow (hopefully); all things that will be a part of Junior High Snow Camp at Rocky Mountain Mennonite Camp on January 20th to 22nd. Asia Frye (Hillsboro, KS) will be sharing with us during the worship times.
Senior High Snow Camp I is February 17-19. Dave Foncannon (Pueblo, CO) is sharing during the worship times on the topic of Faith in Action. Join other youth groups from Colorado and Kansas for a weekend of activities, fellowship, and enjoying the beautiful creation at RMMC. If your youth group is unable to come in February, there is an option March 17-19 for youth groups to attend Senior High Snow Camp II. No program leaders (speaker and music) are scheduled for the weekend, so all groups attending are asked to help provide input for the worship times.
Ted Swartz at Men’s Retreat
This year’s Men’s Retreat will focus on storytelling and laughter. To lead the worship time, Ted Swartz, of Ted & Co., has been invited to share his stories. Both theater and seminary trained, Ted has found a unique and entertaining discovery; at the intersection of humor and biblical story is often a greater understanding of the text. In addition to the worship times, men will have the opportunity for hiking, human curling, jamming with musical instruments, and relaxing. There will also be an option to volunteer Friday and/or Saturday morning with a variety of maintenance projects at camp. Registration for the retreat is available online, so sign up today!

You’ve Been Spotted!
We spotted Dale Nissley (Hershey, PA) wearing his RMMC sweatshirt! He was on vacation in Boothbay Harbour, Maine and posed by the water to give a shout out to RMMC. Dale has volunteered at RMMC for a week the past few summers, offering his energy for various maintenance projects and offers his expertise in organizational development.
We spotted Gary Blosser (Blandon, PA) wearing his RMMC shirt. The volunteer shirt that Gary is wearing is from the Eiger Bathhouse renovation when he was the project coordinator from 2007-2008. He, along with his wife Judy, lived at camp during the year the renovation took place. Gary’s willingness to volunteer didn’t stop with RMMC, as he is pictured here at the MCC Material Resource Center in Ephrata, PA.
Thanks, Dale and Gary, for being fans of RMMC all the way in Pennsylvania and wearing your RMMC apparel in Maine and PA.
